Fierce Judgment When Jesus The Messiah Returns to Earth

This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marvelled at among all those who have believed.

2 Thessalonians 1

The "Word of God" Will Rule the Nations

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

(`Lamb' is another name for Jesus the Messiah)

Revelation 6, 19

The Worship of The Risen Messiah in Heaven

The Disciple John wrote: After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Revelation 4, 5

The Return of The Messiah Will Consummate God's Plan

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the Prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."

I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star. Behold, I am coming soon!

Revelation 22

The following is a Prayer to the Eternal, One True God.

If you can say it from your heart, read it aloud and make it your own.

"Almighty God, You are the Creator of all things. Honor and power belong to You, and You rule over all. Your Name and the Honor of Your Name are the desire of my heart, and my spirit longs for You.

I thank You that You have spoken through the Prophets and in the Injil. I now know that the perfect sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah has provided the way for me to be saved from the penalty of sin, and to experience Your forgiveness and love.

I want my life to be changed, and to know Your peace in my heart. I seek Your forgiveness of my sins. Thank You for your promise through the Injil, 'If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.'

Merciful God, help me to understand that You love me and that Jesus the Messiah died for my sins and rose again, so that I might have eternal life. Amen"
